Knowing that my mom was going to pass away, I wanted to create a vessel to hold her remains that was just as amazing she was. Pansies were her favorite flowers and I used different sheens of colors with stroke and coat and underglazes to create this effect. She never got to see the finished product, but I know she would love it.
